Congratulations to Gibraltarian boxer Tyrone Buttigieg, who became the new WBC Latin Silver Belt champion on Saturday night. Tyrone won unanimously after ten tough rounds against Venezuelan boxer Ernesto Martinez at Casino Admiral in San Roque. The sold-out crowd, including Gibro Group's CEO, Stuart Rodriguez, and many supporters from Gibraltar, created a fantastic atmosphere, especially when the national anthem was sung.

This was Tyrone’s first ten-round fight, and he managed to keep control for most of it. He later said that winning the title was a dream come true and that he’s looking forward to resting before his next fight early next year.

As one of Tyrone’s sponsors, Gibro Group is proud of his hard work and determination. We’re excited to support him as he continues his journey in boxing. Well done, Tyrone!
