Many things make us proud to be part of the Gibro Group family, but our recent achievement at the 'Relay for Life' 24-hour walkathon is certainly one of them. As of our commitment to give back to our local community, this event was an overwhelming display of our collective spirit.

Stepping onto Gibraltar’s Lathbury Stadium for the annual walkathon, our team members were fuelled by purpose and the motivation to make a difference. What followed was a day of unwavering dedication, laughter, and intense teamwork, resulting in an accomplishment worth celebrating.

Not only did Team Gibro raise an impressive £5,035.70 for the charity, but we secured the second spot on the event leaderboard! This accomplishment speaks volumes about the incredible efforts our Gibraltar office staff put forth, who braved the challenge with enthusiasm and commitment.

A team effort

The event wasn't only about the walkathon. A multitude of activities unfolded behind the scenes in the days leading up to it, each one contributing to our collective effort. Our team members across departments became the unsung heroes, grilling sandwiches, preparing lunches, and serving breakfasts to fuel our fundraising activities.

This level of dedication and unity transformed our participation into an all-round fun, rewarding, and enriching experience.
