Stuart became CEO of the Gibro Group in 2015 after being the Managing Director of the Gibro Group since 2003 following his initial appointment to the Board in 1999.
He read law at Liverpool John Moores University, where he obtained his law degree with honours. After successfully completing his Bar Finals, he was called to the Supreme Court of England and Wales and is a member of the Honourable Society of the Middle Temple. He then obtained a Masters Degree in European Law at the University of Leeds and was called to the Bar in Gibraltar in 1998.
Stuart specialises in advising international clients on international tax structuring, trusts, residency, banking and private client work, particularly ultra-high-net-worth individuals and families.
Stuart is also the CEO of Portutax Lda. Based in the Algarve, Portutax is a member of the Gibro Group of Companies and specialises in providing tax, accounting, and fiscal representation services.
Until recently he had been the longest serving Board Member to the Gibraltar Federation of Small Businesses, culminating in his chairmanship of the Federation, sitting on various Government and EU Boards.
